Honored to Represent Youth Be Known at the 2024 Texas Child Care Administrators Conference
I am thrilled to share some wonderful news with all of you. As the founder of Youth Be Known, an organization committed to supporting families adopting and fostering children from the public foster care system, it is a tremendous honor to announce that my workshop proposal , "Balance & Blossom: Nurturing the Well-being of Foster and Adoptive Parents," has been selected for presentation at this year's Texas Child Care Administrators Conference in Round Rock, Texas.
This opportunity to represent Youth Be Known at such a prestigious event fills me with immense pride and gratitude. It is a testament to my dedication and hard work as well as the unwavering support of our community. I am deeply thankful for this chance to showcase the vital work we do to support foster and adoptive parents in nurturing their well-being.
At Youth Be Known, we recognize the unique challenges faced by foster and adoptive parents. The journey of caring for children from the foster care system can be both rewarding and demanding, and it is essential that parents have the resources and support they need to navigate this path successfully.
"Balance & Blossom" is a workshop specifically designed to provide foster and adoptive parents with the tools and strategies necessary to prioritize their own well-being while caring for vulnerable children. Through a combination of workshops, support groups, and individual coaching sessions, we empower parents to cultivate a sense of balance, resilience, and self-care in their lives.
Being chosen to present the Balance & Blossom workshop at the Texas Child Care Administrators Conference is a significant milestone for Youth Be Known. It is an opportunity to share our knowledge and expertise with professionals in the child care field, and to learn from others who are dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families.
I am deeply grateful to all of you who have supported Youth Be Known on this journey. Whether through volunteering, donations, or words of encouragement, your support has been instrumental in our success. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of foster and adoptive families across our community.
As I prepare to represent Youth Be Known at the Texas Child Care Administrators Conference, I carry with me the stories and experiences of the parents we serve. I am inspired by their resilience, their love, and their unwavering commitment to providing safe and loving homes for children in need.
Thank you, once again, for your continued support. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent Youth Be Known at this year's conference, and I look forward to sharing our work with others in the child care community.
With gratitude,
Chenita Tayborn
