Youth Be Known believes that every child deserves a loving and safe home that allows them to heal and thrive. Children that are removed from their birth families because of abuse or neglect deserves to be placed with a caring family during their time in Foster Care.
The goal is to help transition children back into a healthy environment with their birth families. Some children are reunited with their birth families, and many are not. When reunification is no longer the goal, adoption is usually the next step. Youth Be Known partners with Adoption and Child Placing Agencies to recruit foster and adoptive families. We help reduce the number of children waiting to be placed in a temporary or permanent home.
