My name is Chenita Tayborn, Founder of Youth Be Known, a nonprofit organization providing services to individuals adopting and fostering children from the public foster care system. Youth Be Known is inspired by the neglect and trauma of my childhood, the pain of my mother, the love of my grandparents, God’s grace and mercy and the ability to forgive. I stand on the foundation I have built, because I know the pain and hurt I had to let go to get here. I specialize in bringing awareness and advocacy to the foster care and adoptive communities.
I am seeking Ambassadors for Youth Be Known to bring awareness and advocacy to our nation’s most vulnerable children and families. Join me in my efforts to make foster care a less traumatic experience for everyone involved. My ultimate goal is to reach every child in foster care and in order to do that I need your HELP.
