Youth Be Known has officially launched its "Perfectly Imperfect Campaign". The goal of the campaign is to change the public narrative about the broken foster care system. In an imperfect world where the systems are ran by imperfect people, it's impossible to expect flawless results. The truth is foster care is hard. Youth Be Known will be meeting with a representative from a Child Placing Agency in each state to promote awareness and advocacy for the foster care system that needs to be fixed and reformed. Broken isn't the only thing foster care represents. When foster care is effective, it is a beautiful picture of grace, reclamation, and of life-changing second chances.
