Love stands as one of the most powerful emotions we encounter. Join Youth Be Known’s "Fostering is Love” project to ensure every foster child feels loved this Valentine's Day. As these children spend the day away from friends and family, we're collecting Valentine's Day cards and candy to bring joy to their lives.I personally deliver each gift to local child placing agencies, emergency shelters, group homes, and foster homes.

Community Baby Shower
YBK will be hosting a community baby shower for parenting and pregnant moms who are currently in foster care. The goal of the baby shower is to encourage healthy, positive parenting, offer community resources and prenatal care. YBK is committed to empowering and motivating teen moms to each their full potential as mothers, women, and tomorrow’s future leaders.

ADOPTION IS LOVE PROJECT
Love is no doubt one of the most powerful emotions we experience. Please join Youth Be Known’s “Adoption is Love “project to make sure all foster kids feel loved this Valentine’s Day. Children in the foster care system will be facing this day away from their friends, family and loved ones. We are collecting Valentine’s Day cards and candy to help children in care. Youth Be Known will hand deliver each gift to local child placing agencies, emergency shelters, group homes and foster homes to ensure your gifts are received.
The cards can be handmade or purchased in-store. We are accepting cards and candy from January 26th- February 12th, 2022.

Psalm 27:10 Raffle
November is National Adoption month. It is an initiative to increase national awareness of the need for permanent families for children and youth in the foster care system. On November 20th, 2021, to raise funds, Youth Be Known will be hosting a “Psalms 27:10” raffle. The scripture reads “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me” . The purpose of the raffle is to focus on YBK’S outreach and awareness- raising efforts around adoption as it relates to helping support professionals working each day to find permanency for children and youth in foster care within their communities. Purchase your raffle ticket and help Youth Be Known continue to work meticulously to enhance the lives of our most vulnerable children.
