Mentorship

The Youth Be Known’s Mentorship program provides youth with guidance and resources to ensure their successful future. Our collaborations with community partners, corporations, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, promotes academic, emotional, and social support for current and former foster youth.

Our mentoring program is designed to assist youth ages 17-25 with continuation of their education and with general life skills training.  Our mentees are matched based on geographic location, hobbies, interest, and the goals of the mentees and mentors.

Mentorship Program Goal:

Our goal is to provide current and former foster youth with a mentor that will encourage and support them through various transitions in their life, help them establish independence, confidence and everyday life skills they will need to build long lasting relationships. We want to challenge youth to be the best version of themselves.
