Youth Be Known is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering families who foster and adopt children from the public foster care system. We are committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children through advocacy, initiatives, and community-centered events. Our mission is to raise awareness, change the narrative around foster care, and ensure every child feels seen, valued, and loved.
Youth Be Known LLC is the professional extension of this mission, providing detailed, timely, and high-quality home study services for foster and adoptive families and the agencies that support them. We work to make the process smooth and stress-free so families can focus on caring for children.
Together, Youth Be Known and Youth Be Known LLC share one goal: to support children in foster care and equip families to provide safe, loving, and nurturing homes.

About the Founder
Due to my mother’s addictions, my siblings and I were removed by Child Protective Services. My grandparents stepped up and made the ultimate sacrifice to raise 8 more children after raising 10 of their own. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my younger siblings were placed into foster care. They were eventually adopted by unrelated families which resulted in non-sibling relationships. I’m grateful for the upbringing my grandparents provided, yet it didn’t shield me from the reality of my truth.
Want to Help?
Each year, hundreds of children and teens are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. We manage foster care and related services for these youth.
